Hi! My name is Morgan and I graduated from Colorado State University in 2018 with my Bachelors in Science in both Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology and Zoology. In 2022, I graduated with a Master's of Science degree in Veterinary Medical Science with a concentration in Shelter Medicine at University of Florida. Currently, I am studying to be a veterinarian at Colorado State University with an anticipated graduation date of 2027. 

 

I am a Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Colorado and have practiced as a veterinary technician for nine years in multidisciplinary fields such as research, companion animal, large animal, exotic pet, and emergency animal medicine and in specialty fields including shelter medicine/outreach, parasitology, dentistry, reproduction, rehabilitation, and sports medicine. I stepped into management in 2019 and continue to serve our local community as interim Practice Manager and Administrative Consultant on as needed basis at PETS Emergency Hospital, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, in Greeley, Colorado.

 

When I am not working, I enjoy dedicating my free time to volunteering with HSVMA- RAVS on spay/neuter clinics across the U.S. Outside of all things vet-med, I enjoy spending time training my two reservation rescue pups Res and Bannack and our Bluetick Coonhound, Hashbrown, in agility, scent work and bite-work. My husband and I enjoy frequent hiking, road-tripping, snowshoeing, camping, paddleboarding, and chasing all the views our beautiful state has to offer.
